Description
Today's episode isn't part of The COVID Series, but COVID is part of the topic. After a year of anti-Asian rhetoric and a drastic spike in anti-Asian hate crimes came the murders in Atlanta, Georgia on March 17. A white man killed eight people, including six women of Asian descent. But, racism against Asians didn't start last March. So in this episode, you'll hear from Mei Marks, a Chinese-American woman who grew up in an all-white family and in mostly white communities.
